Wanna be

I want to be smart but not wear a tie; intelligent but not arrogant; get where I'm going and enjoy the journey; be successful and equitable; be holistic and yet enjoy separation in life; keep it simple but not simplistic!

Life is more than what I do, it's an outward expression of who I am. So, knowing who I want to be has to be more important than knowing what I want to do. When I know who I want to be, I'll find peace and satisfaction in whatever I do.

For me, faith is an important part of who I am. My faith is a challenge not a crutch, but I know that whatever circumstances I face, there is a God who will be there with me - a friend closer than a brother. I'll have to walk the road but God will walk it with me. Faith doesn't have to be complicated, full of rules and regulations. Faith is about relationship - knowing God and sharing the journey of life, with all it's ups and downs and twists and turns but never giving up because there is always Hope when we travel with God.
